Move Over Board-And-Train: Day Training Is Here

You know that your dog needs help, but there just isn't room for another appointment in your busy schedule.

A few years ago, there was only one alternative to traditional training classes. You had to ship your dog away to a board-and-train bootcamp for a few weeks. While effective, board-and-train programs are often expensive for the humans and stressful for the dogs who are suddenly in an unfamiliar environment surrounded by strangers.

Fortunately, we have a better option.

What Is Day Training:

Day training is the new hybrid program taking over the training landscape. It combines the best parts of the coaching and the board-and-train models. Day training has all of the speed and convenience of a board-and-train, but your dog stays in the comfort of their own home. It is also significantly less expensive than equivalent board-and-train programs.

Day training works similarly to dog walking.

Two, three or five days a week, Level Up's professional trainer comes to your house and trains your dog for an hour while you're busy -- at work, running errands or taking care of the million-and-one other things you have to accomplish every day. We do the training for you and you come home to an obedient dog. At the end of each week, you will meet with your trainer to go over what your dog has learned.

Day training is the best of both worlds.

Because your dog is getting two to five lessons with the trainer for every one you attend, progress is fast. The dogs typically make progress much faster and more consistently than they would with coaching programs alone.

So to recap:

Day training is less of a time commitment in your already packed schedule, your dog receives top-notch training directly from the expert, and the training time is typically twice as fast as coaching. What's not to love?

How It Works

Schedule an initial consultation in your home.

All of our training programs start with a free consultation in your home, which usually takes 1 to 2 hours. That gives us a chance to talk about your training goals for your dog, any problem behaviors that are currently driving you crazy, and how our day training program can help your family. Then we will work together to create a customized training plan for your dog to get Fido back on track.

What you get:

  • An initial consultation: 1 to 2 hours to talk about your dog's behavior and your training goals.
  • A month of day training sessions: Choose between 2, 3 or 5 days a week
  • Four weekly transfer sessions: At the end of each week, we show you what your dog has learned.
  • All training supplies included: Clicker, treats, treat pouch, front-clip harness, stay station
  • BONUS: 2 additional follow-up lessons after the day training program is finished

Three weekly schedules to choose from:

  • 2 days a week: $900
  • 3 days a week: $1,250
  • 5 days a week: $1,700
